Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AJ-EX Courier & Logistics services, website, and customer portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including customers, business clients, and visitors.

2. Services Description

AJ-EX provides international and domestic courier, freight forwarding, warehousing, and logistics services. Services are subject to availability in your region. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time with reasonable notice. Service specifications, transit times, and pricing are subject to change.

3. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Illegal substances, narcotics, or controlled substances
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons
• Perishable foods without proper packaging and documentation
• Hazardous materials not declared and packaged per IATA/IMDG regulations
• Currency, negotiable instruments, and bearer bonds
• Live animals without valid health certificates and permits
• Items prohibited by the laws of origin or destination country

Shipment of prohibited items will result in immediate cancellation and potential legal action.

4. Shipping Charges & Payment

Shipping charges are calculated based on chargeable weight (the greater of actual and volumetric weight), service type, origin/destination, and applicable surcharges. All charges must be paid in full before or upon shipment acceptance. Late payments may result in account suspension and interest charges of 2% per month.

5. Liability Limitations

AJ-EX's liability is limited to the lesser of the declared shipment value or USD $100 per shipment unless additional insurance is purchased. We are not liable for:

• Delays caused by customs, regulatory authorities, or force majeure events
• Indirect, consequential, or special damages
• Loss or damage due to inadequate packaging
• Customs duties, taxes, or penalties

6. Customs and Import Duties

The shipper is responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable export and import regulations. AJ-EX may act as customs agent when authorised. All customs duties, taxes, and fees are the responsibility of the designated payer (shipper or receiver as agreed). AJ-EX is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities.

7. Claims

Claims for loss or damage must be submitted within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery for lost items) via our support portal. Claims must include the tracking number, proof of value, and photographic evidence. AJ-EX will investigate and respond within 14 business days.

8. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify AJ-EX immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. AJ-EX reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms.

9. Privacy

Your use of AJ-EX services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New York County, NY.

11. Changes to Terms

AJ-EX reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
